Community Updates
Dozens of circular organisations secure grant funding from Circular.ie
We’re excited to reveal the first community groups and organisations receiving Circular Communications Grants, with a total of €100,000 spread across Ireland as part of the scheme.
Selected from more than 350 applications, the successful recipients are delivering a diverse range of initiatives covering reuse, repair, upcycling, education and behavioural change. A total of 40 organisations are expected to secure funding through the programme.
“We were delighted to receive such a high calibre of applications for this grant,” said Eibhlin Fitzpatrick, Community Manager at Circular.ie. “They’re a real testament to the fantastic quality of circular work happening in communities throughout Ireland.”
“It was a highly competitive process, and we have ensured grants were awarded to meet the needs, diversity and geographical spread of projects,” added Eibhlin. “We’re genuinely looking forward to working with the winners as they continue to strengthen and expand their impact.”
