Join us at the Monasterevin Community Centre and Hopkins Gardens for a tea party like no other.
In Alice in Wonderland, the Hatter offended Time, trapping everyone in an endless, chaotic teatime. Sounds a lot like modern consumerism, right? Endless production, ticking climate target deadlines, and endless WASTE…
We’re rewriting the story. 🌾
Guided by the Otter—the animal spirit of Berba, goddess of our ancient River Barrow. We’re exploring the natural flow of our local waterways, circularity, and the climate emergency. We're swapping surreal chaos for the timeless, sacred cycles of nature.
🌿 What to expect:
* A celebration of Berba & the precious ecology of the River Barrow (a Special Area of Conservation)
* A wild twist on a classic tale—replacing the tea party with local wildlife!
* Meaningful connection through circular workshops, exhibitions, wildflower foraging, sensory mapping, and radical hope for our future.
